DPCI Joins Acquia Platinum Partner Program to Deliver Drupal Publishing Solutions

Partnership allows both companies to jointly work together to help grow market share with Drupal

New York, NY - March 1, 2009 - DPCI, a provider of integrated technology solutions for organizations that need to publish content to Web, print, and mobile channels, today announced it has joined the Acquia Partner program at the Platinum level.  Through the program, DPCI will further expand its open source content management offerings by developing and delivering custom publishing solutions utilizing Acquia's value-added products and services for the wildly popular Drupal social publishing system. Additionally the program allows DPCI to leverage the Acquia Network for enterprise-class support, site management, and remote network services.

"Over the past few years of delivering Drupal solutions to the market, we have heard from prospective customers that they would like the product to be commercially maintained," said Joseph Bachana, President of DPCI. "With Acquia providing commercial support and managed services for the Drupal implementations that we perform, this will help customers mitigate the risks associated with inexperienced site management providers as well as decentralized platform development. Acquia's offerings will also help us further reduce total cost of ownership in implementing open source and optimize the Drupal customer's ongoing experiences with running and maintaining the Drupal platform."

The Acquia Partner Program helps organizations of all sizes identify Drupal service providers with the expertise, experience and services to meet their unique Website requirements. Working together, Acquia and DPCI will focus on extending the reach of Drupal into media companies, publishers, educational institutions, and marketing communications departments of consumer goods companies.

"We are excited to have DPCI join the partner program at the platinum level," Jay Batson, Acquia co-founder and CEO. "DPCI has a strong reputation for its leading technology solutions and together we look forward to helping organizations succeed with the Drupal social publishing system."
