DPCI Partners with dataplan, GmbH to Deliver End-to-End Multichannel Publishing Solutions Utilizing the JournalSuite Product Line

Collaboration Includes the Integration of DPCI’s Digital Flywheel Technology with dataplan’s JournalDesigner to Dynamically Create Ad Books for Different Vertical Market Publications

Through the partnership, the companies will collaborate on large-scale, multi-channel publishing system projects by integrating dataplan's JournalSuite with DPCI’s Digital Flywheel technology.

JournalSuite, which includes JournalDesigner and other modules, is utilized by leading publishers to design and plan the contents of an issue – print or online.  JournalDesigner gives publishers a tool to automate the placement of content and pages based on ad requirements and editorial business rules.

DPCI integrated dataplan’s JournalDesigner with Digital Flywheel as part of a multi-channel publishing solution at Consumer Source, Inc. – a PRIMEDIA company focused on real estate advertising publications. JournalDesigner is being used by PRIMEDIA to streamline the production process for a series of apartment and housing guides that are delivered in print and online formats.
