DPCI Earns Acceptance into Rebranded Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Program in 2011

Admittance into Microsoft’s new, more rigorous program is DPCI’s 6th year of commitment to Microsoft technologies, with a specific focus in 2011 around SharePoint 2010 and the Content Management competency

New York, NY - January 10, 2011 - DPCI today announced that it has again been accepted by Microsoft Corporation into the distinguished category of "Microsoft Gold Certified Partner" for 2011. Consistent with DPCI’s mission to help organizations with their content technology needs, the company has focused recertification specifically on the Content Management competency, which demonstrates superior architectural, development, and implementation services around SharePoint 2010.

In 2010 Microsoft made the decision to make its Gold Partner program more difficult to get into, thus creating a more elite measure of a service company’s proficiency with specific Microsoft technologies. Thus, many of the DPCI staff senior developers and business team prepared rigorously over the past few months to pass all the new certification tests, prepare new customer references, and submit customer satisfaction data to Microsoft in order to be accepted into the more stringent program.

"As DPCI continues to focus on elite architectural and implementation services around content management technologies, it made great sense for us to continue our commitment to Microsoft’s offerings in that arena,” said Joseph Bachana, President and Founder of DPCI. “There is no question that this was the toughest year to get recertified. However, while we have grown dramatically in other departments such as open-source, our Microsoft business remains stronger than ever. In fact, we are poised for rapid growth, specifically around SharePoint 2010 as a powerful content management platform for customers that already are heavily invested in Microsoft infrastructure. I’m proud of my team members for what they have accomplished this year in DPCI getting admitted into the newer, more rigorous program.”

As a Gold Certified partner over the past 6 years and a general partner of Microsoft for 11 years, DPCI has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and measurable ability to meet customers’ needs. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners receive a rich set of benefits, including early access to technologies, training and support, concierge-like certified Microsoft developer candidate sourcing services, and a host of marketing and customer outreach services, giving companies like DPCI a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

“Customers are looking for partner companies that can bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities,” said Allison Watson, corporate vice president of the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “They need to trust in a company that can act as an expert adviser for their long-term strategic technology plans. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners, which have certified expertise and direct training and support from Microsoft, can build a positive customer experience with our technologies. Today, Microsoft recognizes DPCI as a long-standing Gold Certified Partner for demonstrating its expertise in providing customer satisfaction using Microsoft products and technology.”

With its comprehensive array of solutions on the Microsoft platform as well as its extended technology partnerships in the content technology industry, DPCI offers its customers a compelling blend of subject matter expertise, technological excellence, and breadth of service.

"Partners like DPCI play a critical role in delivering solutions and applications to customers leveraging SharePoint 2010,” said Jigish Avalani, managing director, Microsoft Partner Ecosystem. “The value of solutions competencies is that they enable Microsoft to deliver resources and training to partners meeting their customer needs. And for partners, the opportunity to highlight their expertise to customers is tremendous in the growing Content Management solutions market.”
